Can Parents be involved in Hope Squad?
Yes! Parent involvement is encouraged and is a great addition to any Squad!
Check below for some guides on how to handle parent involvement:
- We encourage you to check with administration regarding the level of parental involvement they are comfortable with.
- Parents can help with supporting activities, providing needed materials, or support in helping plan an activity (cutting out things, making copies, etc...) Parents can also help manage activities.
- Parents and PTA involvement can help with funding the cost of the Squad, costs of materials and activities, or even buying T-shirts and other swag items for the Squad.
- Parents can attend lessons, but may not teach them as only trained Advisors are permitted to teach the content.
Only trained Advisors are permitted to access and teach the Hope Squad Member Lessons
