How do Hope Squad Member lessons and schoolwide lessons work together?

They teach toward the same prevention goals at different levels of depth. Schoolwide lessons give all students foundational knowledge and skills related to help-seeking, trusted adults, coping, inclusion, safety, and responding to concerns. Hope Squad Members receive deeper and more frequent instruction, guided practice, role-play, and leadership opportunities, so they are prepared for their specific peer-leader role. The difference is primarily depth, frequency, practice, and responsibility - not two unrelated curricula.
