How do I know whether our Hope Squad is being implemented well?

Look for a functioning system rather than a single event or activity. Strong implementation includes active administrative support, trained and adequately supported Advisors, clear safety and referral protocols, thoughtful nomination and permission processes, regular Member learning and meetings, schoolwide engagement, appropriate Member role boundaries, family and community connection, basic data collection, and an annual review and renewal process.

Avoid judging success only by referral counts or suicide interventions.
