How does Hope Squad fit with our existing crisis, safety, counseling, or student-support procedures?

Hope Squad is designed to work within existing school and district systems, not create a parallel crisis or counseling process. The program strengthens the front end of the pathway by helping students recognize concerns, encourage help-seeking, and connect peers to trusted adults. Once a concern reaches an adult, the school's established safety, counseling, crisis-response, or student-support procedures should guide what happens next.
