What resources are available to help fund and sustain our Hope Squad program?
Hope Squad provides resources for both long-term program sustainability and local fundraising for Squad activities.
Administrators can access a Funding and Sustainability Guide with support for identifying funding sources, approaching community partners, building a realistic budget, developing sponsorship and funding requests, and planning for long-term sustainability.
Hope Squad also provides ready-to-use grant planning and management guidance, along with prepared program language, outcomes, implementation details, and supporting information that can be quickly adapted for grant applications. This helps schools and districts respond to funding opportunities without having to build every application from scratch.
Both administrators and Advisors have access to sustainability-focused microlessons that clarify their roles in maintaining the program over time, including funding, community engagement, shared ownership, and implementation planning.
For Advisors and Hope Squad Members who want to raise funds for activities, Hope Week, supplies, or other Squad-led efforts, Hope Squad provides a fundraising toolkit with practical ideas and resources for school- and community-based fundraising.
Schools can also use digital sharing resources and customizable community support letters to communicate the value of Hope Squad beyond the school and invite local businesses, organizations, families, and community partners to support the program.
Together, these tools help schools build a sustainable mix of school, district, grant, community, sponsorship, and fundraising support rather than relying on a single funding source.
